Bobbi has been the owner of Fascination in Fabrics for the
past 14 years offering a fine selection of fabrics, laces, patterns and notions
for sewing classic children’s clothing,
christening gowns, and family heirlooms. Her passion continues to be designing
and constructing christening gowns that are sure to become family heirlooms for
generations to use and enjoy.
In 2001, Bobbi added teaching to her activities, at first
teaching adults, mostly moms and grandmothers, the joys of heirloom sewing.
Asked to teach a children’s class in 2004, she accepted the offer and has since
then developed a broad range of classes for her younger students whose ages
range from four years old through young
adults.
Today, Bobbi travels and teaches a variety of sewing topics to pre-school children through adults in
private, semi-private, or group settings. Throughout the year, she runs
successful after school programs at
During the summer, Bobbi enjoys
continued success with her “Get Creative and Sew Camps”. These camps
fill quickly and run weekly from June 15 through September 4 of 2009. Campers
have the opportunity to try a variety of sewing techniques as they begin to
grasp basic sewing skills by hand and machine. Classes are small to ensure
campers receive the attention they need to succeed in each project. Call for
more information or to register for camps.
