With 30 years of experience in sewing and teaching, I focus on helping my students understand the how and why behind each skill they learn — not just what to do, but why it works. My goal is for every student to leave not only with finished projects but with the confidence to continue exploring the wonderful world of sewing and the needle arts!

At Fascination in Fabrics, adult lessons are tailored to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you've never touched a sewing machine or you're ready to build on existing skills, I'll help you learn at your own pace in a friendly, no-pressure environment!

What kinds of sewing lessons does Ms. Bobbi offer?

Ms. Bobbi offers one-on-one private sewing lessons for adults and children, homeschool sewing classes for individuals and small groups, and alterations and tailoring services — all in Upper Chichester, PA or in your home throughout southern Delaware County. Lessons are available for complete beginners through experienced sewers.

How much do sewing lessons cost?

Lessons are $50 for one hour or $75 for 90 minutes. All studio machines and supplies are provided — just show up ready to sew. Gift certificates are available year-round for any amount.

Do you come to my home, or do I come to the studio?

Both options are available. You're welcome to come to Ms. Bobbi's home studio in Upper Chichester, or she can travel to you for in-home lessons throughout southern Delaware County — including Aston, Boothwyn, Marcus Hook, Garnet Valley, Brookhaven, and surrounding communities.

How old does my child need to be to start sewing lessons?

Lessons are open to children ages 5 and up. If you have a younger child who is already showing real interest, reach out to Ms. Bobbi at (610) 368-8392 — she's happy to talk through readiness with you directly.
