Ms. Bobbi offers one-on-one private sewing lessons for adults and children, homeschool sewing classes for individuals and small groups, and alterations and tailoring services — all in Upper Chichester, PA or in your home throughout southern Delaware County. Lessons are available for complete beginners through experienced sewers.

Lessons are $50 for one hour or $75 for 90 minutes. All machines and supplies are provided — just show up ready to sew. Gift certificates are available year-round for any amount.

Most projects also include a kit fee of $10–$20, which covers all the materials for that project. Some projects allow students to bring their own materials — ask Ms. Bobbi when you book.

Yes! Book your first 3 lessons and receive one beginner project kit free. It's a great low-pressure way to try sewing — and you'll leave with something you actually made.

Both options are available. You're welcome to come to Ms. Bobbi's home studio in Upper Chichester, or she can travel to you for in-home lessons throughout southern Delaware County — including Aston, Boothwyn, Marcus Hook, Garnet Valley, Brookhaven, and surrounding communities.

Lessons are open to children ages 5 and up. Every child is different — if you have a younger one who is already showing real interest, reach out to Ms. Bobbi at (610) 368-8392 and she'll talk through readiness with you directly.

No experience at all is needed. Ms. Bobbi has taught complete beginners for over 30 years and meets every child exactly where they are — whether that's learning to thread a needle or working on their first garment.

Absolutely. Parents are welcome to stay and observe, or drop off — whatever works best for your family and your child's comfort level. Ms. Bobbi is happy to accommodate either.

Projects are tailored to each child's age, skill level, and interests. Beginners typically start with hand sewing basics and simple projects like pillows or plushies. As skills develop, kids move on to machine sewing, bags, clothing, and more. Ms. Bobbi discusses project options with students and parents at the start of each lesson series.

No. All studio machines and sewing equipment are provided for in-studio lessons. You do not need to own a sewing machine to take lessons with Ms. Bobbi.

For in-home lessons, Ms. Bobbi will discuss what equipment is available when she contacts you after booking.

The kit fee ($10–$20 depending on the project) covers all fabric, thread, notions, and materials needed to complete the project. Students leave with a finished item they made themselves.

Some projects allow students to source their own materials instead — just ask Ms. Bobbi when you book.

Yes! Many students — especially adults — bring their own projects or fabric. Ms. Bobbi will guide you through whatever you're working on. Just let her know when you book so she can plan accordingly.

After you select your lesson time using the online scheduler, Ms. Bobbi will reach out by phone or email to confirm details, discuss your goals and project interests, and let you know if any specific materials are needed before your first session.
