1. About Fascination in Fabrics

Fascination in Fabrics is a home sewing studio owned and operated by Bobbi Smith, located in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania 19061. All services are provided by Bobbi Smith personally.

2. Lesson Bookings

Lessons are available for adults and children and may be booked online via the Calendly booking calendar or by calling or texting Ms. Bobbi directly at (610) 368-8392.

A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from Calendly or a direct confirmation from Ms. Bobbi. Bookings are subject to availability.

By booking a lesson, you confirm that the information you have provided — including student name, age, and any relevant experience level — is accurate.

3. Pricing

• 1-Hour Lesson — $35
• 2-Hour Lesson — $70
• Homeschool semester and small-group pricing — call for details
• Alterations — starting prices listed on the Alterations page; final pricing confirmed at drop-off
• Gift certificates — available in any amount

Prices are subject to change. The price in effect at the time of booking will be honored for that session.

4. Payment

Fascination in Fabrics accepts the following forms of payment:

• Cash — paid in person at the time of service
• Personal check — made payable to Bobbi Smith; paid at time of service
• Online payment — via Shopify Payments or Stripe at time of booking

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged directly with Ms. Bobbi. Returned checks may be subject to a returned check fee.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Here is our cancellation policy:

• 24 hours or more notice — reschedule at no charge using the link in your confirmation email or by calling (610) 368-8392
• Less than 24 hours notice — the session may be forfeited or a rescheduling fee may apply at Ms. Bobbi's discretion
• No-show — the full session fee is forfeited
• Cancellation by Ms. Bobbi — in the rare event Ms. Bobbi must cancel, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full reschedule at no charge

6. In-Home Lessons

In-home lessons are available throughout southern Delaware County for an additional travel fee where applicable. When booking an in-home lesson, you agree to:

• Provide a safe, reasonably clear workspace with adequate lighting
• Notify Ms. Bobbi in advance of any animals that may be present
• Ensure an adult is present for the duration of any lesson involving a child

Ms. Bobbi reserves the right to decline or discontinue an in-home lesson if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.

7. Student Safety & Supervision

The safety of all students is a top priority. During lessons:

• Children under age 10 must have a parent or guardian present or immediately available on the premises at all times
• Ms. Bobbi will provide age-appropriate instruction on safe tool and machine use at the start of each lesson
• Students are expected to follow all safety instructions during the lesson

Fascination in Fabrics is not responsible for injuries resulting from a student's failure to follow safety instructions.

8. Materials & Supplies

Basic sewing machines and supplies are provided at the studio at no additional charge. Students are welcome to bring their own machine or materials if preferred.

For specific projects that require particular fabrics or notions, Ms. Bobbi will advise in advance. Any materials purchased on a student's behalf will be billed at cost.

9. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates issued by Fascination in Fabrics:

• Never expire
• Are redeemable for any lesson type — adult, child, or homeschool
• Are non-refundable but fully transferable
• Have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash

10. Alterations & Tailoring

Alteration services are subject to the following terms:

• Final pricing is confirmed at the time of drop-off based on the garment and work required
• Turnaround time is discussed at drop-off and is subject to current workload
• Garments left unclaimed for more than 60 days after completion notice may be donated or discarded
• Ms. Bobbi takes great care with every garment; however, Fascination in Fabrics is not liable for pre-existing damage or wear discovered during the alteration process

11. Photography & Testimonials

Ms. Bobbi may occasionally photograph student projects (not students themselves) for use on the website or social media. If you prefer that your child's work not be photographed, please let Ms. Bobbi know at the start of the lesson.

Any testimonials or reviews submitted to Fascination in Fabrics may be used on the website or in promotional materials. Only first names or initials are used unless you give explicit permission to use your full name.

12. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate bookings. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

All content on this website — including text, images, and layout — is the property of Fascination in Fabrics and may not be reproduced without permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

Fascination in Fabrics provides sewing instruction and alteration services in good faith. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bobbi Smith and Fascination in Fabrics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a lesson or service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific lesson or service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms or from services provided by Fascination in Fabrics shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of this website or booking of services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
